Large parts of the world's population, especially people in modern industrialized countries, will soon reach an advanced age. Throughout the world this is accompanied by the phenomenon of longevity.
Average life expectancy will rise continuously in the coming years, triggering a host of structural challenges, especially in Western countries. New trends and complex changes are emerging in business, politics and society as a result.
