The topic of artificial intelligence (AI) is currently on everyone's lips: applications such as ChatGPT illustrate the enormous momentum in this field. While emerging countries such as China, Saudi Arabia and India are generally very positive about AI applications, established industrialized countries are much more reserved.
This is particularly true for Germany and the USA, which implicitly run the risk of losing out in the global race for future technologies. The disruptive dynamics of AI have already been studied in detail by the FERI Cognitive Finance Institute on several occasions, most recently in the study "The Great Progression" - The Decade of Massive Acceleration in 2021.
