Triggered by the ChatGPT project, the topic of artificial intelligence (AI) is currently on everyone's lips. In addition to a wide range of possible uses, AI also entails increasing risks.
According to the AIAAIC database, which tracks incidents of ethical abuse of AI, the number has increased 26-fold since 2012. The sharp rise in AI abuse is evidence both of the rapid spread of AI technologies and of the increased threat of AI abuse.
Notable cases in 2022 included a "deep fake" video by Ukrainian President V. Zelenskyy showing Ukraine's supposed surrender and "deep fake" photos of the supposed arrest of Donald Trump.
The "Deep Fake" phenomenon was already analyzed in detail by the FERI Cognitive Finance Institute in 2021. The German analysis is available in the download area of this page.
