Russia is increasingly becoming a risk factor for the global economy. The country is not only a major oil and gas exporter, but also an important supplier of strategic raw materials to the world market.
The automotive sector and individual future technologies in particular are dependent on Russian supplies, as some of the industrial metals required are difficult to substitute. The dependence of the global economy on a few players is now a key risk factor, which is why alternative trade flows and supply chains will become more important in the future.
